Daniel Wynn, MD, FACNS, FAASM, is the Director, Clinical Research and Director, Consultants in Neurology Multiple Sclerosis Center, a position he has held for the last 35 years. Dr. Wynn completed internal medicine/neurology fellowships at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, with additional neurology at The National Hospital for Neurological Diseases, Queen Square, London. He is board certified in neurology, neuromuscular disease, epilepsy and sleep disorders medicine. He has expertise in a wide variety of adult and pediatric neurological illnesses and has served as a principal investigator in over 200 clinical trials, over 100 in multiple sclerosis. Dr. Wynn was principal investigator for all FDA approved anti CD20 monoclonal antibodies approved for multiple sclerosis, and presently involved in 20 ongoing MS clinical trials. Dr. Wynn serves on the Clinical Advisory Committee of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is the Director of Consultants in Neurology Multiple Sclerosis Center. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including Alpha Omega Alpha, American Academy of Neurology, and American Medical Association. Dr. Wynn is widely published in The New England Journal of Medicine, Neurology, Annals of Neurology, Lancet, and Journal of the AMA, Pediatrics, Mayo Clinic Proceedings, and presents frequently as invited speaker at meetings in the US and overseas. He has served as expert witness for innovative and generic companies in patent litigation at both the USPTO and federal court.
