Sarah Zallek, MD, FAAN, FAASM, DipABLM, is Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, medical director of OSF Sleep Peoria, and clinical professor of neurology at University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. She earned a degree in biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.D. from Rush Medical College. She completed neurology residency and sleep medicine and epilepsy fellowships at the University of Michigan. From 2019-2023 she led the development and implementation of a compassion-based communication course for physicians. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
